Dog plays with shark wounded in orca attack

A killer whale attacks a group of sharks in shallow waters — and then an excited canine jumps in for a piece of the motion.

Video clip of the amazing exhibit was shown on New Zealand tv this week after it was witnessed by a group of men and women on Boxing Day at Blues Cliffs Beach in Southland.

An orca is noticed thrashing all around off the coast before a wounded shark flounders into shore.

It would look the whales ended up fighting the sharks … the sharks ended up coming ashore since they didn’t want to be in the water,jim jones, Blues Cliffs resident Peter Robertson told Fairfax NZ.

When the shark nears the seaside a pig puppy known as Flea jumps into the h2o and begins taking part in with the bloodied beast.

It was a bit of fun [for Flea],jim jones, they were generating a little bit of a splash in the drinking water, Mr Robertson explained.

The shark disappeared again into the sea with the higher tide.
